Description: Position Summary:The Test Automation Developer is responsible for creating automated tests for enterprise applications, websites, mobile apps, and integration platforms.Work Schedule: This position currently follows a hybrid work model. Employees are required to work from the office at least four days per week (Monday – Thursday), with Friday available for remote work, offering a blend of in-person collaboration and flexibility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
- Develop and maintain automated tests, frameworks, and scripts for regression, integration, and load tests using various automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Junit).
- Implement and execute automated tests in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines to ensure rapid feedback and product delivery.
- Identify opportunities for test automation within manual testing processes and create test automation strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product managers to understand product requirements and design corresponding test scenarios.
- Develop comprehensive test suites that cover a wide range of test cases and edge conditions.
- Analyze test automation results, update tests for new features, and resolve test issues.
- Reproduce reported issues to assist in identifying their root cause and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
- Build and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Write tests using standard development toolsets in object-oriented languages.
- Work in an agile development environment.
- Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation that can be easily understood in business terms.
- Assess changes that will impact the test environment and develop a strategy to address system changes.
- Interact with other teams to define test requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Communicate effectively with other teams regarding bugs and issues.
- Perform assigned duties in an agile development environment.
Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position):
- Bachelor of Science degree in related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in test automation.
- Experience developing in C# or Java.
- Proficient in Selenium or Telerik testing framework.
- Knowledgeable in Azure Test Plans, VSTS, Test Hub, Sauce Labs.
- Knowledge of source control platforms such as Git, Bitbucket, or TFVC.
- Strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple teams.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Initiative to improve quality and make projects successful.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing cloud based and on-prem enterprise applications.
- Experience in Azure DevOps, VSTS, TFS, or Jira.
- Experience testing mobile apps with Microsoft App Center, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs.
- Experience load testing with VSTS or JMeter/Flood.io.
- Experience testing web services with Postman or SOAPUI.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting language.
