Description: Job Family: Management ConsultingTravel Required: Up to 50%Clearance Required: NoneWhat You Will Do:Support the oversight, assessment, and project management efforts on state and local government technology projects.Assist in the management of IT client engagements, including project plans, scope and budget definition, resource allocation, and product delivery.Coordinate project timelines with clients and internal teams, helping to generate estimates for project complexity and duration.Serve as a key point of contact for client communications, helping manage developer/client interactions.Provide guidance to team members on project execution and client management skills within State and Local Government.Support the management of client relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle, building confidence and delivering excellent service.Assist with technical oversight of the project, providing input and guidance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Help monitor the scope, schedule, and budget of technology projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements and timelines.Identify and address risks and issues, collaborating with stakeholders to keep the project on track.Contribute to practice development by assisting in the creation and growth of service offerings and authoring thought leadership material.Engage in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal development.What You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree with a MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of technology consulting experience OR a Master’s degree and a MINIMUM of ONE (1) year of technology consulting experience; years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of SEVEN (7) years of technology consulting experienceA MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of overall IT industry experienceAbility to reside in Sacramento or the surrounding, commutable areasThis role is a hybrid role which will require you to go into the closest Guidehouse Office as needed or on occasionWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable number of miles of a Guidehouse OfficePMP certificationCertified Scrum MasterSAFe CertifiedPrioritizing tasks in a client-driven environmentProviding candid, meaningful feedback in a timely mannerInterfacing with organizational managersThe annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00.
