Until FilledVACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill teaching positions for the 2025 Summer School Program.Orientation: TBD
Date: June 2, 2025 – June 20, 2025 *No classes on June 19th, 2025
Staff Hours: 7:00am-12:00pm
Location: Bolingbrook High SchoolThe Summer School program will serve students with moderate to severe disabilities and will include certified teaching and related-services staff. Instructional class time is 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.Note: Number of positions anticipated to be determined by student enrollment. Teachers will be notified as soon as possible regarding the status of their employment for the summer. Teacher assignments are contingent upon student enrollment.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must hold appropriate State of Illinois Teaching Licensure with LBSI Endorsement
• Knowledge and experience related to proposed teaching assignment preferred

JOB SUMMARY: The teachers are responsible to report to the Summer School Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.WORKING CONDITIONS: Teachers will be paid $40.00 per hour. Applicants must work the entire summer session.
