Description: VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill a temporary Math teaching position for the Summer School Program.JOB SUMMARY: Summer school teachers are needed to teach the following subjects for summer school. Valley View School District reserves the right to cancel the class in the event of insufficient enrollment.
Orientation: TBD
Date: June 2, 2025 – June 20, 2025 *No classes on June 19th, 2025
Staff Hours: 7:00am-12:00pm
Location: Bolingbrook High SchoolQUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must hold the appropriate State of Illinois (PEL) Professional Educational Licensure and endorsed in Algebra, Advanced Algebra, and Geometry
• Prior 9-12 teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience related to proposed teaching unit preferred

• Applicants must be able to maintain records as required
• Applicants must commit themselves to the entire session (No vacations during session preferred)

COMPENSATION: Teachers will be paid $40.00 per hour.
