Description: Overview:GDC IT Solutions is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sr. Web Application Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity, with 2 days required onsite per week in Columbus, OH. Position Overview:This position involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications, integrating third-party APIs, and managing complex databases. The candidate will collaborate on both front-end and back-end tasks, focusing on Angular and .NET technologies, and leverage cloud platforms and modern development practices like CI/CD and microservices. A strong emphasis will be placed on optimizing application performance, ensuring security, and delivering seamless user experiences. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET technologies.
• Implement interactive UIs with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular 8+, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Convert ASP.NET Web Forms to Angular components and ensure reusability across modules.
• Use Entity Framework and other ORM tools to manage data access and integration.
• Create, manage, and optimize SQL databases, including tables, views, queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality.
• Build and maintain server-side APIs and applications with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
• Implement security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption (RBAC).
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficient application performance.
• Collaborate on the development of continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot, test, and implement system solutions to maximize user experience.
• Maintain secure coding practices to mitigate security vulnerabilities throughout the development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience:

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing web applications using Angular and .NET/ASP.NET.
• 7+ years of experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Angular 8+.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL databases (Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server).
• 5+ years of experience with Python 2.7 or higher.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in version control using GIT and working with code repositories via GIT Bash commands.
• Experience in API integration (SOAP, REST) and API security measures (authentication, encryption, RBAC).
• Hands-on experience with building and maintaining secure web applications and APIs.

Preferred Experience:Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps (minimum 3 years).
• Ability to design and manage Data Warehouse functionality and understand ETL processes in various applications.
• Experience optimizing SQL database structure for performance and efficient data management.
• Familiarity with advanced API security practices such as role-based access control (RBAC) and encryption.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js in addition to Angular.
