Description: Published Description: SPED Teacher position with a combination of case management, resource teaching and IEP clean up!
Here are the specifics:Case Management of students who are taught by teacher on alt licenseIEP meetings/IEP development in collaboration with teacher in place
Progress monitoring setup and collection in collaboration with teacher in place
Any evaluations
Daily communication and parent meetings to be done by teacher in place
Behavior Specialist Responsibilities
Advisory Group (3 students for the whole time/several who Check in)
Reactive side of behavior management/SEL instruction – system set up for specialist to be available for student support throughout day as needed
Keep data/log of services provided
Overseeing ISS in her classroom
Lunchtime – students would be routed to Main Office
Special Education – Coordinating specialized plans with some direct services of about 5 students
Students with very limited services- in collaboration with a coach, review to determine next steps (ie: review data, progress, need for evaluation, etc.)
