Description: The Azure Solutions and Ecosystem (AS&E) team is actively seeking a Project Management Architect. Our broader team’s mission is to deliver key workload solutions such as Electronic Health Records (e.g Epic), SAP, Private Cloud (VMWare, Nutanix) and partner (e.g Oracle) solutions. This role specifically is for the team focused on delivering platform solutions for migrating Electronic Health Records (EHR) to Microsoft Azure.If you have expertise in infrastructure solution architecture, platform migrations, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, this role is an excellent fit. As a PM Architect on our team, you will take on diverse roles—Innovator, hands-on problem solver, and act as a trusted advisor to our customers. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and various cross-functional teams to define and execute your tasks, ensuring successful outcomes.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.   • Lead the development of AI-powered incubation solutions and tools aimed at enhancing the quality, resiliency and reliability of infrastructure platforms on Azure tailored for Electronic Health Record systems e.g Capacity optimization, resource utilization, advanced monitoring etc. Build, test, and validate these solutions to ensure feasibility and deliver business Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Transform these AI-powered incubation solutions into scalable, production-ready tools and frameworks. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust automation, integrate them into Azure’s broader ecosystem, and ensure they are adaptable for diverse customer scenarios.
  • Support marquee healthcare customers during their Electronic Health Record migration to Azure, providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Collaborate with engineering teams to build automation tools and quality assurance frameworks that streamline the migration experience for healthcare customers.
  • Advocate for customer needs across various Microsoft product teams, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one of the areas – Cloud Infrastructure or AI/Data Management. Author white papers and technical guides to share insights and best practices with customers and partners.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 3+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure solution architecture.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,
  • OR product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years of experience with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems or any other EHR Systems

Technical Program Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 – $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 – $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
