Description: DescriptionScripps Ranch High School has one full time (1.0 FTE), 11 month position to fill.The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor is assigned within the high school Air Force JROTC program. The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor is directed by the Principal and Vice Principal to properly instruct cadets and manage the JROTC unit in accordance with military regulations and district policies and procedures.AB2534 As of January 1, 2025, in accordance with Education Code section 44939.5 (as amended by California AB2534) applicants for certificated positions are required by law to provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school and/or state special school with which you have previously been employed, regardless of the length of services. For all certificated positions, please be comprehensive in disclosing any part-time, full-time, and substitute employment. Minimum QualificationsAbility to obtain a JROTC Credential.Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher.LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be certified by the United States Air Force JROTC Headquarters and meet eligibility requirements established by the sponsor military service in accordance with public law. Must be a retired, veteran or serving reservist Air Force O4 thru 06 with no less than 10 years of service and meet body fat requirements. Must have a bachelor’s degree.
