Position: Full-Time School Social Worker (K-12)
Location: Cary, IL
Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School YearAbout the Role:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join a school district in the Cary, IL area for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, onsite contract position working 37.5 hours per week, supporting students K-12. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges while promoting their overall well-being and academic success.Hourly Rate: Negotiable, starting at $40 per hour. Please discuss your desired hourly rate with the recruiter during the pre-screening call.Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement student support plans
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions for students with special education needs
• Support students’ mental health and well-being by providing crisis intervention as needed
• Assist with case management and connect students and families with external mental health resources
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress, and student outcomes
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through student engagement initiatives

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Illinois (or ability to obtain before the start of the position)
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
