Description: Job Description:Summary: The Research Scientist will lead and support clinical and translational research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare knowledge. This researcher will engage in sponsored clinical trials, and investigator led research, in collaboration with the clinical research team, physicians, advanced practice providers, and residents.Experience: Three to five years of experience in research. Experience in genetic research strongly preferred.Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Research, or Data Science related field. Master’s degree preferred, in Healthcare, Research or Data Science related field.Licenses: N/AEssential Functions: Design, implement, and oversee clinical and translational research projects. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to identify research opportunities and develop protocols. Secure funding by preparing and submitting grant proposals to external funding agencies. Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Author and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, institutional policies, and federal regulations, including IRB submissions and approvals. Provide mentorship and training to medical staff, residents, and students engaged in research activities. Develop and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and community organizations.
