This is an independently owned and operated franchise location.Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing both the inside and outside sales teams, across 4 locations in the North Austin area and consisting of 9-14 employees.The Regional Sales Manager will focus on driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting the company’s brand and values. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills. The Regional Sales Manager will be directly responsible for the efficiency, profitability, and overall performance of the sales teams. This position will report directly to the Franchisee.Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, motivate, review, schedule, coach, and terminate employees within the sales department.
- Resolve personnel disputes and related problems privately and in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage employment-related programs, including incentives, payroll processing, and bonuses.
- Schedule and facilitate staff meetings and sales meetings.
- Facilitate daily production meetings with staff to review work in process.
- Oversee the overall schedule and workflow between sales and production.
- Monitor and train employees in company Brand Standards.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop annual sales plans with the Franchisee, detailing activities to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Coach as assist sales team to consultatively sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and Brand Standards.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these using a “drill down” and “share of wallet” concept.
- Ensure proper follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone, marketing, and field activity.
- Ensure team maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
- Develop a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
- Assist sales team in prepare presentations, estimates, and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain estimate follow-up procedures.
- Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals for weekly sales meetings.
- Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
- Carry out market research; i.e., competitive shops and customer surveys.
- Customer Service and Satisfaction:
- Evaluate and maximize quality customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer satisfaction issues.
- Ensure effective team relationships with all support departments.
- Contact customers within 3-5 days of order pick-up/delivery to confirm customer satisfaction.
- Manage the inventory purchasing process.
- Review orders for accuracy as needed with sales staff.
- Operations Management:
- Manage center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Monitor and/or perform center opening and closing procedures.
- Complete reports as necessary (e.g., daily and weekly sales reports, daily closing, royalties due, direct marketing response tracking).
- Monitor overall center finances, including P&L accountability and WIP Summary accuracy.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection of account receivables.
- Coordinate various tasks and scheduling activities to ensure quality project management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Promote and encourage the brand mentality of “Everybody Sells” through recognition and incentive programs.
- Serve as a backup for answering the phone if the and sales/service employees are busy assisting other customers.
- Assist at the front counter as needed.
- Understand the sales process enough to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.
- Coaching and Leadership:
- Provide sales team members with a clear definition of planned sales objectives.
- Define the output responsibilities of the job and let them know what results are expected
- Review their call sheets and results
- Lead the team in a fair and ethical manner
- Lead in a charismatic manner and have the ability to make good decisions and inspire the team to reach a common sales goal
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of leading successful inside and outside sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the visual communications or sign industry, preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software Hubspot and Google Office.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to manage a team of 9-14 employees.
- Experience with a Point of Sale system (POS), preferably CoreBridge.
Working Conditions
- Work may require occasional overnight travel, weekend, and/or evening hours.
- Working conditions are normal for an office and a light-manufacturing environment.
Compensation
A competitive salary with a benefits package will be offered and will be commensurate with experience. Compensation structure includes a base salary with bonuses for strong performance.
Salary: $75000 – 150000 per year
