We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our plant operations. Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Human Resource Manager, the HR Coordinator will:Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried roles, including:
- Partnering with operations leaders to identify hiring needs.
- Posting jobs, reviewing applicants, and scheduling interviews.
- Conducting phone screenings and preparing job offers.
- Coach managers on effective interviewing and selection techniques.
- Track candidate metrics to improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.
- Maintain an organized applicant tracking system (ATS) and respond to all candidate inquiries. Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a key contact for employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Assist employees with payroll system navigation and ensure smooth access.
- Provide support for diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive engagement.
Payroll & Administrative Support:
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 65 employees, including:
- Ensuring payroll information is accurate.
- Entering vacation time and auditing reports as needed.
- Provide remote support to other plant locations as necessary. Training & Compliance:
- Conduct new employee orientations to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Support job code management, training, and other HR-related functions.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
- At least 2 years of recruitment experience, specifically in sourcing manufacturing candidates.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in generating candidates through ATS, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Knowledge of key metrics to optimize recruiting and HR processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and support employees.
- Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish to better communicate with a diverse workforce.
