• Enable sound problem definition
• Drive innovative solutions through inclusive collaboration
• Provide thought leadership on emerging methods for solutioning and collaboration
• Design approachable, repeatable, and effective engagements for discussing, debating, drafting, and deciding

This position offers the opportunity to interact directly with Government and MITRE leaders in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere with the ability to make a difference.Strong candidates for this position will possess the necessary skills and experience to fulfill (among others) the following tasks:Solution Co-Creation: Leads or works within teams to create solutions and solve sponsor specific mission problems in broad range of areas. Engage across MITRE to identify internal research results, other mission successes, and industry trends that can be applied to sponsor problems.The candidate must exhibit the following behaviors to be successful in this position, have a rapid onboarding, and an enduring impact:Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• Prior experience in organizational strategic planning, project management, and executive leadership engagement, including the development of high-level organizational strategies, mission expansion, and business development.
• Prior work experience supporting government sponsors such as: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
• Familiarity with legislation impacting VA, such as the Elizabeth Dole Act.
• Familiarity and/or experience with the Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) program
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with external stakeholders including Government agencies and Congressional representatives.
• Demonstrated operational and status reporting and presentation skills at all management levels
• Demonstrated problem-solving and task prioritization skills
• Ability to think broadly and strategically backed up with significant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across the various organizations within MITRE, our sponsor space, and industry to achieve important outcomes for our sponsors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the development of actionable solutions to real world business problems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Suitability clearance.
• This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.

• Demonstrated ability to impact high-level business decisions and operations.
• Experience working with high-level sponsor executives.
• An acute sense of self and ability to sense in others their motivations, intents, and interests – to enable them to achieve each.
• Recognized as a diligent task manager, strategic planner, active listener, go-to problem solver, and reliable contributor to team efforts.
• Proven track record of delivery, professionalism, organizational and oratory skill, and collaborative behavior
