• Plan, Supervise, and Implement Curriculum: Develop engaging lessons in reading, writing, and math to prepare children for future learning.
• Collaborate with Faculty and Staff: Work as part of a supportive, collaborative team to enhance student experiences.
• Communicate with Families: Provide daily updates to parents or guardians, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and experiences.
• Maintain an Organized Classroom: Create a well-structured and inviting classroom that fosters independence and exploration.

What You Bring to the Team

• Educational Requirements: 12 semester or 18 quarter units in early childhood education (ECE), covering areas like child development, family/community studies, and program/curriculum; OR a bachelor’s degree in child development.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You can connect effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Experience Preferred: Prior teaching experience with young children is ideal but not required.
