Apply today.JOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, this position is responsible to lead and execute marketing initiatives that elevate the college’s brand and drive engagement with prospective and current students, alumni, and the community. This role requires expertise in both paid and organic media strategies, design proficiency, and exceptional copywriting skills.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Marketing Execution:
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels to achieve enrollment, retention, and brand awareness goals.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
  • Media Collaboration:
  • Work closely with external agencies to plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns, including search, display, social media, and programmatic advertising.
  • Collaborate with agencies to ensure media strategies align with IRSC’s goals and brand standards.
  • Design Leadership:
  • Create visually compelling marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, and multimedia content, ensuring alignment with IRSC’s brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external designers to produce high-quality creative assets.
  • Copywriting and Content Creation:
  • Craft clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for a variety of channels, including websites, email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone that reflects IRSC’s mission and values.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the Associate Vice President of Brand Experience and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and media partners.
  • Higher Education Expertise:
  • Leverage knowledge of the higher education landscape to develop campaigns that resonate with target audiences, including prospective students, parents, and community stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to inform marketing strategies.
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, with a focus on paid and organic media, design, and copywriting.
  • Demonstrated success in marketing roles within higher education or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with video editing software.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using platforms such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and advertising dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one that involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS:Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the skills or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Additionally, all employees of the College are expected to maintain professional standards of communication, be able to learn and apply new technology, and abide by all policies and procedures.
