Description: Leave Replacement: Lower School General Studies TeacherFebruary 2025 – June 2025Pay: $200/dayThe Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a First Grade Learning Specialist Leave Replacement for February 2025 to June 2025.Position Overview:We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated General Studies professional who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.Responsibilities:

• Teach language arts, reading, writing, and math

• Support students’s learning in specific content areas and skill development

• Organize and lead small group instruction for students with proven ability to grasp math and apply math concepts quickly

• Use project-based teaching skills

• Collaborate with other classroom teachers
