Description: Human Resources Manager Job Summary:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and driving strategic initiatives to support organizational growth. You will manage and enhance employee relations, develop HR programs, and guide staff in achieving their full potential.Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Conduct investigations and represent the organization during hearings when necessary.
- Oversee the full recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, candidate selection, and onboarding programs. Collaborate with managers to identify hiring needs and make strategic recommendations.
- Design and implement training programs to support employee growth and readiness for assignments. Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve
- Manage pay structures by conducting market surveys, overseeing job evaluations, and recommending updates. Administer employee benefit programs and provide
- Address grievances, counsel employees and supervisors, and resolve workplace conflicts to maintain a positive environment.
- Support managers in monitoring performance, conducting evaluations, and implementing improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate records, update job descriptions, and ensure the integrity of employee files through an organized filing system.
- Plan and coordinate employee recognition programs, appreciation events, and team-building activities.
- Assist with employee offboarding, including coordinating with IT and facilities for access changes and retrieving company property. Perform administrative tasks to support HR initiatives and operational needs.
Human Resources Manager Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven expertise in:
- Full-cycle recruitment
- Benefits administration
- Employee relations and performance management
- Compensation planning and wage structure development
- Employment law and compliance (including diversity initiatives and harassment prevention)
- HR strategy and process improvement
Human Resources Manager Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR software and data management
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
Physical & Work Environment:
- Frequently required to talk, hear, and use a computer.
- Office environment with typical safety considerations.
- Occasional travel between office locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, depending on organizational requirements.
