Description: Objective:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with an employee friendly culture. The Home Care Consultant (HCC) is responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory. The primary duty of the HCC is to build relationships with referral providers so they refer clients as they are discharged from their facility and to build relationships with other referral sources. Expected to perform a variety of duties that relate to client care including care consultations with potential clients and family members, client/caregiver introductions, case management, problem resolution and scheduling. Regular travel to healthcare facilities and work outside of normal office hours in the evening and on weekends is expected. The HCC must be able to collaborate and work as a team with other office employees.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals; performs all phases of sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, diagnosis of referral source and client needs, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead® services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.
  • Conduct Client/CAREGiver introductions with every new client and with every new CAREGiver.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance (QA) site and phone visits with clients according to schedule.
  • The HCC is the point person for the resolution of client and caregiver issues as they are escalated during the daily operations of the business.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share.

Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, funeral homes, etc.

  • Travel to clients’ homes or to facilities and meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of a service plan.
  • In conjunction with Home Instead franchise leadership, develops sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls; presentations; closed sales; and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, including the use of software to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.

Pay rate depending upon experience. Benefits include Holiday Pay and Paid Time Off (PTO) after probationary period. No medical benefits.
