For more information, please visit our website at or connect with us on orJob Title: Graduate Marketing & Art Direction TraineeWork Location: Remote, preferably Chicago areaTravel Requirements: Approximately 25% of the time, including to the UKThe Graduate Marketing and Art Direction Trainee will support the client service team in delivering an exceptional customer experience building and retaining strong, sustainable client & supplier relationships. This role will also support the Account Management & Creative Team by delivering market audits, and competitor and trend analysis in relation to packaging design. The role will also be responsible for managing photography art direction where new packaging designs are required by the client.Responsibilities include:

• Instore and online market audits by product category for new pack designs.
• Creation of trend analysis on packaging for new designs by category, with recommendations on current trends, presentation of trends & recommended design direction
• Attending photography shoots for new designs, ensuring that the product is shot in line with the client’s approved brief, in a timely fashion and to delivery schedule.
• Planning: Planning photo shoots, planning store visits in line with redesign schedules, planning time to successful draft the trend analysis and market audits in time for design project kick off.
• Problem Solving: The main problems will be difficulties on photo shoots. These could be difficulty matching the client brief, shoot delivering late images, problems with preparation of the product samples for photography. Candidate should have the ability to support the photographer with alternative suggestions to resolve the issue and escalate any risks to the account management team.
• After training, the candidate will be given the authority to approve a photoshoot on set. These will be made on all shoots, however should the shoot not match the client brief, escalation will be required to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in design or marketing
• Design portfolio
