Description: The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a full-time special education paraprofessional at Onalaska High School. Paraprofessionals in the School District of Onalaska are classified as one encompassing unit of employees and are an integral part of the school system’s programs. Paraprofessionals are assigned by the building administrator to many assignments which may be different in each of the schools. Special education paraprofessionals will support students in general education and within special education programming as needed.No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested. Great benefits including health insurance!Qualifications: A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred. If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment.
