Description: The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the preparation, review, and distribution of financial reports, focusing on key metrics for various leadership levels within the firm. This role will be of high value to the organization.

  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports for departments, practice groups, and top management, with analysis against budget and forecasts.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring multi-level approvals from executive leaders.
  • Oversee preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, contributing to lateral partner hiring support and specialized financial reporting for promotions and compensation cycles.
  • Supervise a team of three analysts, handling workload distribution, performance management, and training.
  • Implement and optimize reporting software, collaborate on reporting enhancements, and support system upgrades.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years in financial reporting or budgeting, including 1+ years in a supervisory role, ideally in a law firm or professional services.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (CMS/Aderant or Elite), budgeting tools like Iridium, and advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
