• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters
• Draft legal documents with attention to accuracy and legal standards
• Conduct thorough legal research to develop and support case strategies effectively
• Represent clients in mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings, ensuring their interests are strongly advocated
• Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing concerns and keeping them informed about case progress
• Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure seamless case handling and optimal client outcomes
• Manage administrative tasks, including deadlines, billing, and calendaring

Family Law Attorney Requirements:

• Active membership in the California Bar
• 2-5 years of experience in family law, preferably in the Los Angeles area, but will consider less experienced candidates with strong experience or clerkships in family law
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal timekeeping and calendaring systems, such as Comslex
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under high pressure to handle demanding cases and situations
• A client-focused mindset, with a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to legal practice
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and strong multi-tasking skills
