You’ll work with clients in need of support during some of life’s most challenging times—whether it’s divorce, child custody, adoption, or other family-related matters.Responsibilities:

• Client Advocacy represent clients in family law matters such as divorce, custody, and adoption with expert guidance and support.
• Document Draftingprepare and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and court filings.
• Settlement Negotiation lead negotiations and mediate disputes to achieve favorable, out-of-court resolutions.
• Court Representation represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
• Client Relationship Building develop strong relationships with clients, offering empathetic support and guidance.
• Team Collaboration working closely with the legal team to efficiently manage cases and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law– experience with complex cases in a plus!
• Deep understanding of family law statutes, court procedures, and family court rules
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Proven negotiations abilities and experience with settlement discussions
• Empathy and problem– solving skills– you’re focused on helping people while finding creative legal solutions
• Strong ability to manage a high caseload while meetin deadlines
