Job SummaryWe are searching for experienced Pet Groomers – One Leading Manger and Two Staff Groomers – to join the team at our up and coming, all holistic pet spa in historic San Marco! If you are tired of working in a drama filled, uncomfortable and/or corporate environment, we are a family run, super established mom ‘n pop that has been in business for over four decades. Compensation will be 100% negotiable with each spa manager and/or staff groomer that applies.Responsibilities

• Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
• Bathe dogs and dry coat
• Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
• Trim nails
• Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
• Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role
• Comfortable working with anxious animals
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
• Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
• Strong attention to detail
