We seek Motivating professionals who will join our Committed team in our Trinity office.Summary:We currently have an opening for a Medicare Biller that is responsible for submitting medical claims to Medicare. The Medicare Biller is also responsible for identifying and collecting balances from Medicare, third-party carriers, submits charges, following up on charges, gathering and disseminating information relating to billing and reimbursement. You will also be responsible for maintaining all patient accounts from billing stages to collections.Medicare Biller Requirements:
- Must have 1-2+ years of experience working in direct claim collections in medical billing.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPC and CPT-4 coding modifiers
- Experience preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.
- Working knowledge of insurance carriers’ payment regulations including various reimbursement schemes, coinsurance and deductibles and contractual adjustment.
- Knowledge of Medicare RCD procedures
- Knowledge of CMS, AHCA Compliance
- Home Health or hospital experience preferred.
