The expected hiring salary range for this position is $26.21-$33.83. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work on site at the Ellie Caulks Opera House a minimum of 3 days a week, but final schedule will be determined by your manager. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.What You’ll DoThis position will perform a wide variety of process that support agency-wide administration and operations. Job duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Managing the executives’ calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters, managing room reservations, and ensuring agendas and relevant documents are received.
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary. Providing support for the agency’s All-Staff meeting, including tracking agenda items, developing the presentation, ordering catering, and providing day-of, onsite support.
  • Collecting and writing content for DAV’s internal newsletter.
  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Maintaining DAV’s internal intranet (DAVHub) and Sharepoint site.
  • Tracking agencywide information including memberships, licenses, subscriptions, staff birthdays and anniversaries.
  • Ordering supplies, keeping the supply room stocked and organized.
  • Answering phone calls and general email inbox in a polite and professional manner.
  • Primary reception for meeting guests: welcoming visitors, coordinating building access with security, meeting room set-up.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum QualificationsEducation requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of administrative/secretarial experience which must include one (1) year of experience at the type and level providing support to a manager responsible for large, complex divisions or the highest-level manager of a small organization.Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.To be considered for this position, please include the following on your job application (upload the multiple attachment(s) to the Resume/CV section on the My Experience tab):
