We are operating in over 35 states for the Department of Defense and civilian clients, as well.Currently, we are seeking to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our company! This position is currently hybrid.Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will oversee and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and other digital channels. This role combines website management, social media strategy, and digital campaign execution to enhance brand visibility and attract candidates and clients. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and proficiency in digital tools are essential to drive engagement and optimize online presence.Website Management
- Manage and maintain the company’s website, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with branding.
- Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve performance issues, broken links, or outdated content.
- Optimize website performance for SEO, including keyword integration, metadata, and technical SEO improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and update landing pages, integrate lead-generation forms, and design campaign-specific pages.
- Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics and other tracking software to enhance user experience (UX).
- Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and meets accessibility standards.
- Oversee integrations between the website and other marketing platforms (e.g., CRM, social media, and email tools).
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to grow followers, increase engagement, and drive traffic to the website.
- Create, schedule, and manage content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Monitor social media analytics to evaluate performance and adapt strategies based on data insights (e.g., audience engagement, impressions, and ROI).
- Plan and execute event-specific and brand campaigns across social media channels, including budgets and targeted ads.
- Create and run social media contests, promotions, and campaigns to boost community engagement.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community relationships.
- Maintain a detailed content calendar for all social media campaigns, events, and holidays.
Digital Marketing
- Define and track KPIs for all digital marketing campaigns, including ROI, lead generation, and conversion rates.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns and automation workflows using tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot.
- Collaborate on content creation, including blog posts, graphics, videos, and newsletters, ensuring alignment with branding.
- Research and recommend new digital strategies to improve online visibility and engagement.
- Monitor and adjust paid search campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) for optimal performance.
- Conduct audience research to understand behaviors, preferences, and trends to refine marketing strategies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or social media management.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting website issues.
- Experience creating engaging social media content, including graphics and video editing using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for digital platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing automation tools.
