This position gives you the opportunity to perform a wide variety of behavioral health administrative duties pertaining to quality management and regulatory compliance as well as act as the community liaison for all housing and social determinate of health initiatives. If you believe you have what it takes to succeed in this position, we want to hear from you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Mental Health Program Specialist 1, you will be tasked with developing, implementing, and monitoring a continuous Quality Management and Improvement Plan for Armstrong-Indiana Behavioral and Developmental Health Program, including provisions for contracted community service providers. You will be required to remain informed on current compliance and quality standards and expectations that are relevant to the Behavioral Health program established by the state and federal government and other regulatory entities. This position focuses on working to develop relevant quality management, utilization, and data analysis reports for internal and external use. You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting provider on-site monitoring visits and desk reviews to ensure contractual compliance and documentation of service expectations, state/local/federal regulatory requirements, and fiscal accountability. Work includes preparing and disseminating reports regarding results of monitoring process and any corrective actions or recommendations; assisting service providers in the development and on-going improvement of their compliance and quality improvement process and plans; as well as attending scheduled licensure and monitoring visits from state, federal, Behavioral Health-Managed Care Organization, or any other compliance entity as appropriate. You will have the opportunity to act as the A-I BDHP liaison regarding the implementation and monitoring of all Social Determinant of Health and housing related initiatives, reinvestment plans, and the PATH program.
