Apply today and start your career off on the right foot!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will be responsible for the daily operations and overall fiscal management of the Delaware County Department of Human Services administrative program fund and accounts payable unit. The primary focus of this position involves budgeting, accounting, and closing of the Department of Human Services administrative ledgers using various cost accounting formulas, in collaboration with responsible fiscal staff. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will also provide guidance and supervision to a team of fiscal staff.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
  • Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
  • Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
