The Corporate Counsel is able to provide significant support to the Legal Team and the organization, specifically regarding employment and labor-related issues, and on other matters of critical importance. S/he has a broad substantive skill-set, plus the interpersonal strengths, resourcefulness and drive to handle directly the wide ranging routine legal needs of the Company’s various businesses and functional departments. While the Corporate Counsel’s responsibilities primarily include serving as an employment law expert for Adtalem’s legal, Human Resources and business teams, additional experience in other legal practice areas, such as corporate, litigation, intellectual property, and/or insurance is a plus. Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,171.61 and $181,034.70. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
