Description: Class DescriptionThe purpose of this class is to perform advanced administrative duties and coordinate daily operations of assigned College division or function to include alignment with marketing strategies and communication plans.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and three years of full-time experience working in marketing and promotions using print and digital media. Experience working in higher education marketing and communications preferred but not required.Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate’s education level and/or years of experience in the field.   • Coordinate the development of communication strategies and messaging aimed at recruiting prospective students and retaining current students.
  • Ensure brand consistency to maximize engagement and enrollment among target populations.
  • Conduct and facilitate meetings among interdepartmental stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to generate reports.
  • Develop creative and effective marketing content to reach targeted markets.
  • Cultivate and effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders from a variety of academic and administrative divisions and departments

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS), and Department of Economic and Workforce Development (DEWD) to create and maintain new digital content that will support career navigators and BCPS middle and high school students. Work closely with these groups to ensure goals for the project are being bet.
  • Collaborate with assigned departments and organizations to create communication strategies and marketing plans that align with the Mmaryland BCPS Blueprint goals and marketing plan.
  • Write copy for the web, email, social media print based oncollege brand messages,communication goals and audience research.
  • Coordinate design and production of print and digital communications, including direct mail publications, collateral materials, web content, email marketing campaigns, advertising and social media messaging.
  • Manage all phases of assigned print and digital communication projects, including comprehensive production scheduling, message development, design and delivery.
  • Contribute web content to the college website using the college’s content management system (CMS).
  • Build, manage and execute responsive communication plans using the college’s recruitment customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Build and maintain brand identity and ensure consistency and relevance of message throughout allcollegecommunications.
