Description: The Mt. Lebanon School District Food Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of Cook at Mt. Lebanon High School.This is a full-time, on-site, permanent 10-month position working 6.5 hours per day, scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, on days when students are in attendance during the regular school year. Additional work/training days may be scheduled by the Food Services Department on an as needed basis.The starting hourly rate for new hires to the district will be $15.71 for the 2024-2025 school year.This position is eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days, and individual coverage for health, dental, and vision insurance benefits with a monthly employee contribution, or an annual stipend in lieu of benefits, if otherwise insured.
Work shirts are provided and staff can be reimbursed up to $70 per school year for the purchase of district-approved work pants, shoes, and/or chef tops.
