Description: Our busy law office is growing, and we are looking for legal case managers to work alongside attorneys and achieve clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients’ goals are met. • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements
• Perform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providers
• Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines, billing, and providing reminders as necessary
• Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
• Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested
• Review medical and billing records and draft demand letters to insurance companies
• Communicate with insurance companies and update them about clients’ treatment status
• Follow up with clients and medical providers regarding clients’ treatment status

Qualifications:

• Previous case management process experience is needed – preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency
• Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed
• Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
• Legal research and legal document drafting experience is critical
