Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Automated Testing Developer to join their IT Applications team. This role is integral to our client’s omnichannel automation and performance test initiatives, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment.As an Automated Testing Developer, you will collaborate with development, DevOps, product, and vendor teams to establish and execute test automation frameworks. This includes supporting various seamless commerce initiatives such as Point of Sale, Omnichannel Integration, Hubs, mobile applications, and e-commerce sites.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute high-quality, flexible, and scalable test frameworks and automated testsCollaborate with various teams for new functional and performance test developmentIntegrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelinesMonitor test execution and report on qualityCoordinate and manage multiple vendors involved in the delivery of our omnichannel capabilityConduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and onboard new resourcesQualifications:5+ years of software development experience, with at least 4+ years focused on automation and frameworksProficiency in one or more programming languages like Python, Ruby, GroovyFamiliarity with open-source test automation frameworks like Pytest, Cucumber, Rspec, PlaywrightExperience with various types of testing: UI, Integration, API, Database, Load, Soak, PerformanceFamiliarity with at least one public cloud interface like AWS/GCP/AzurePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent Software Engineering experienceExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologiesKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available mission-critical serviceThis role is fully remote, with a standard 40-hour work week.
