Description: Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and law firm owner. • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis

Qualifications:

• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
• Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment
