Description: Job Description:Summary:BioPharma Consulting JAD Group is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Scientist II to enhance our research and development team. The ideal candidate will support the innovative initiatives of the organization by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with senior scientists. Also, be a part of the Process Chemistry group, responsible for the process development and in-house non-GMP manufacture of modified oligonucleotides and siRNAs.Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments in support of various projects. Document experimental procedures and results meticulously.
• Support non-GMP oligonucleotide production on a tight timeline
• Review, interpret, and summarize experimental data to draw meaningful conclusions, contributing to project goals.
• Support purification method development, optimization, and scale-up
• Assist in the development and optimization of analytical methods, including assay development and validation processes.
• Execute non-GMP oligonucleotide purifications
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, including cGMP and GLP, while adhering to safety protocols within the laboratory environment.
• Execute downstream processing of purified material
• Execute in-process analytical tests
• Participate in creating and reviewing SOPs and batch records
• Support campaign activities across other unit operations as-needed
• Work closely with senior scientists and other team members to achieve project milestones. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on findings.

Requirements:Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 1-3 years lab experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, LC-MS etc.).
• Experience working in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory management systems and scientific software.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing biopharmaceuticals.
• Related hands-on experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture process including phosphoramidite chemistry, chromatography, ultrafiltration etc. is a plus.
