Description: Overview:As the Associate Director, Practice Sales & Acquisitions, you’ll facilitates succession activity between departments to ensure timelines are met, quality physicians are identified, and transactions for the sale of practices are completed. Responsibilities: * Works with Executive Director, Successions to develop business, financial and project plans for affiliate physician retirements.

• Monitors/oversees end-to-end project planning for practice sales and acquisitions.
• Develops a business plans for member retention when an MDVIP affiliate physician retires.
• Initiates and supports transactions, such as brokering sale of practice, related to affiliate or prospect physicians.
• Coordinates Succession Affiliate/Candidate education, as needed prior to opening as an MDVIP Affiliate.
• Liaison with sales, recruitment, and other departments to ensure project plans and retirement strategies are meeting appropriate milestones and designated deadlines.
• Executes strategy to successfully negotiate succession affiliate’s physician agreements. Presents practice sale disclosures, legal documents, and business intelligence to seller’s and prospective buyers.
• Builds pricing strategies and provides recommendations for replacement physicians to support member retention during contracting negotiations.
• Performs due diligence analyses in areas including but not limited, practice financials, current contractual obligations, liabilities/risks, and operations. Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:Education / Experience / Knowledge:Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in the study of Business Administration, Management or Marketing, and at least eight (8) years related business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience assumes a similar role focused on selling to Primary Care Physicians, Account Management, or Physician Relations. Four years of MDVIP experience in a field-based, physician facing role may substitute for years of experience

• Must have knowledge of the inner workings of a physician’s office.
• Skilled in effectively presenting materials, concepts, and financial information to individuals or in small group presentations.
• Skilled in negotiating, selling a concept and implementing company sponsored initiatives.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physician network development/management experience highly desirable

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using hands/fingers for working on a computer.

• To meet business needs, this position requires the individual to regularly travel with overnight stays, by air or land, approximately 60% of their work schedule. In periods of high volume, it may exceed this amount. Employee must be able to work autonomously from a home office when not traveling.

Field based roles:

• This role requires substantial travel as identified at the time of hire. Business circumstances will require travel throughout the U.S. At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S.
• Home residence is the taxable location.
• Due to substantial air travel, the home residence must be within 45 miles or 90 minutes driving distance to a large airport servicing the United States.
• Any change to the state of residence shall solely be at the discretion and approval of executive leadership.
