Description:

• Provide for the planning and delivery of instruction to assigned students in accordance with the Board adopted planned courses .
• Maintain current certification and up-to-date knowledge of subject matter, instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and technology and materials.
• Help to maintain a healthy and positive school environment by observation, analysis, and remediation of potential problem areas.
• Provide for overall supervision and behavior management in areas of assignment.
• Participate in the process of curriculum development, selection of materials, staff development, public
• information and communication with parents as appropriate to the role of a professional employee.
• Support the total program of curriculum and co-curricular activities in areas of established skill,
• expertise, and background.
• Maintain professional decorum in all interactions with parents, students, and the public.
• Provide for referral services to students to access counseling, health and other related services
• available through the school.
• Provide reports on student progress as required by the Administration.
• Support the mission of the school in all public contacts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Building Principal.

Qualifications:

• Must have Pennsylvania Art K-12 Certification
• Must demonstrate the ability to be highly structured and organized and have good communication skills
• Must have (or willing to obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background clearances
