Apply today to join our dynamic team of professionals and help us make a positive impact throughout Lebanon County!DESCRIPTION OF WORKActing as the main Protective Service Care Manager for older adults, your work involves receiving reports of need for protective services; investigating reports received; assessing the needs of protective services consumers; as well as developing and coordinating the implementation of service plans for protective services consumers. Protective service duties include providing activities, resources, and support to older adults to detect, prevent, reduce, or eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment. After being state certified to perform protective service investigations, you will be responsible for following PDA state regulations on Policy and Procedures for protective services. Upon receiving your certification, you will be responsible for taking protective service referrals after normal working hours and on an on-call basis. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate with police departments, hospital social service staff, nursing homes, personal care home staff, and home healthcare agencies to complete your investigation.Our mission is to develop, coordinate, and promote a continuum of services that values and supports older adults as they age; empower them to maintain independence, dignity, and respect; and enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.
