Primary Responsibility:The JDE Junior Developer, Level II is responsible for providing technical design, support, and implementation of JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne systems to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs. This role involves data analysis, system maintenance, development of custom solutions, and active participation in JDE upgrades and enhancements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Secondary Responsibility:
- System Design and Development: Provide technical design, definitions, and processes for business software. Develop and execute JDE solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Create and analyze ad-hoc queries/reports using SQL, ReportsNow, PowerBI, or similar reporting tools.
- System Maintenance: Perform and coordinate system maintenance for JD Edwards-related activities, including regularly scheduled jobs and proactive monitoring of ERP system health.
- Problem-Solving: Identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective measures to resolve system problems.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with internal teams to learn, understand, and support the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Project Implementation: Support system enhancements and fixes through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-project implementation activities.
- Documentation: Develop solutions with clear, concise documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity of best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSEducation & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of JD Edwards software development experience with versions 9.0 or higher.
- Experience with two major JDE implementation or upgrade projects is required.
Skills & Expertise:
- Knowledge of JD Edwards Financials and Distribution applications, including functionality and supporting software configurations.
- Experience with JDE Orchestrator Studio.
- Proficiency in SQL development and relational database management systems, with preferred knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including situation assessment and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBI and ReportsNow.
- Excellent PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Preferred: Experience with web and mobile application development
Communication Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively within established deadlines.
Mathematical Skills:
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations.
- Ability to interpret formulas for data analysis and forecasting.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer. Regularly required to move, reach, and communicate effectively.
