Description: POSITION TITLE: Operations OfficerLOCATION: Arlington VA , remote US-based working locations will be consideredBUSINESS UNIT: Environmental Resources TrustREPORTS TO: ART Managing DirectorPOSITION SUMMARYThe Operations Officer is an important role within ART providing support to the ART Managing Director, and other ART staff on all aspects of implementation of this program. This will include developing and implementing operations procedures, supporting ART Registry processes, assisting in organizing and planning internal and external events, tracking and assisting with ART Board and funder reporting, and administrative tasks.ART prides itself on providing technical expertise and responsive service to interested participants, jurisdictions and stakeholders. The Operations Officer will provide support and contribute to ensure that ART is managed efficiently, while ensuring technical rigor and quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUNDEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Governance, Project Management or related field.Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in administrative and operations management roles with increasing responsibility over time. Experience working with teams focused on REDD+ / forest carbon or voluntary or compliance carbon markets preferred. The candidate must have familiarity with designing and implementing operations procedures, coordinating in-person and online events, facilitating team travel and workflows, and project management software and tools.Skills:
Other: Must be available to travel for short-term assignments. Commitment to Winrock’s mission and interest in market-based approaches to reducing greenhouse gas emissions required. Candidate must be comfortable working in a flexible, high-paced environment and able to work well in teams and also independently.The salary range for this role is set between $70,000 and $80,000, with the majority of candidates typically land within the midpoint of this range, there is an additional 10% contribution for a 403b annually and an excellent .Winrock is an equal opportunity employer.
