Description: The ability to implement the District’s mission, vision, and instructional goals.Meet professional teacher requirements of school, district and State.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active, standards-based learning.Assess student progress and proficiency and adjust instruction accordingly.Use relevant technology to support and differentiate online instruction.Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Provide appropriate feedback on work.Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development using PowerSchool.Participate in district professional development.Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress, needs and concerns.Able to create strong partnerships with parents and guardians to improve student learning.Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.SALARY:
Accepting all AK teaching experience, and up to six years out of state experience, for initial placement. Starting at $51,259 (BA+0yrs) to $86,408 (BA72/MA36+13yrs).BENEFITS:
