We seek the next lead learner of Mason Intermediate School – which educates the district’s fifth and sixth graders.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • Be the lead learner and implement educational programs that align with district goals and priorities.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive school environment that bolsters the well-being of students and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to improve student outcomes.
  • Encourage a forward-thinking and empowering culture that values the voices of both staff and students.
  • Guide the district’s Learner Centered System of Supports, ensuring it meets the community’s educational needs.
  • Establish and assess positive culture practices that help learners discover and reach their potential.
  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and execution skills, effectively translating vision into actionable plans.
  • Lead the school’s administrative and teaching staff in leveraging district priorities and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Define school priorities and performance metrics, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes leadership among staff and students.
  • Leverage and strengthen school-community partnerships to help students pursue solving worthy challenges.
  • Guide staff through changes in the educational landscape, ensuring adaptability and growth.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – * Demonstrated leadership capability.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and nurture a diverse staff and student body.
  • Visionary mindset.
  • Instructional Leader.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Valid Ohio Administrative certification/licensure.
  • Five years of successful school Administration experience.
  • Five to seven years of successful classroom teaching experience.
