Description: About the Team: The Gen Product Marketing & Strategy team sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing; championing innovation and telling the product story across our portfolio of cyber safety brands including Norton and Avast. Our team helps shape the future of our global and regional cybersecurity portfolios by turning customer and market insights into product strategy. We work collaboratively with product colleagues to develop new product opportunities that delight our customers, while partnering closely with GTM teams to achieve our commercial goals.About the Role: Our Product Marketing MBA internship will focus on product strategy. The successful applicant will be truly passionate about creating great products. There will be an emphasis on understanding customer needs, market and competitive analysis, value proposition development, and more. Success in this role will come from being a natural collaborator who can build bridges across different functions, gather insights, and unite teams behind shared objectives. Your communication skills will be key to building consensus and driving initiatives forward.You’ll have one large project and several smaller assignments throughout the summer.Projects may include:Lead deep dive competitive analysis to assess how we fare compared with the dynamic changes of our competition, and make recommendations for appropriate business response.Execute consumer research to evaluate new product opportunities and translate findings into actionable insightsCollaborate with our analytics team to uncover data-driven insights that shape product strategy and drive business growthCraft product brief, articulating the initial value proposition and reasons to believe, then work with your product marketing colleagues to kick start go to market activities.Create strategic presentations and communications for sales and marketing teamsSupport go-to-market planning and execution for product launchesQualifications:Currently pursuing an MBA with focus in Marketing, Strategy, or related fieldStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendationsStrategic thinker who loves to think creatively, but who can also roll up their sleeves and get things doneTeam player with a sense of humorGlobal mindset with enthusiasm for technology, product development, and marketingPassionate communicator with outstanding interpersonal, presentation and writing skillsGen is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
