Our art-handling expertise has earned the trust of artists, collectors, dealers, galleries, and museums worldwide for four decades.We aim to be the primary service provider for the people and entities responsible for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture.To that end, our Art Handler Specialists are responsible for ensuring safety and integrity in packing, crating, and transporting artworks to and from museums across the world, regional art galleries, and private venues. In addition to physical requirements, this role also provides leadership and guidance during projects while acting as a liaison between clients and company managers.RESPONSIBILITIESUsing Crozier’s appropriate techniques and materials:Handle, move, wrap, pack, and crate art objects, decorative arts, and/or furnitureInstall/uninstall art for onsite projectsLoad/unload trucks to ensure safe transitPlan, organize, and pack trucks to ensure utmost safety of objects during transitConduct inspection reportsLead, guide, and coach team for successAct as onsite liaison between clients and company managementDetermine strategy for projects, particularly when senior staff are not on siteSpend 5% of time on laptop / desktop computer, telephoneQUALIFICATIONSClean personal and employment historyExperience handling art is desirable but will train accordinglyRepeat physical tasks 95% of time, including standing, bending, kneeling, and crouchingLift, move, push, pull equipment, containers, and boxes of various sizes and weightUnderstand industry-standard techniques and materials for packing, crating, installingCommunicate effectively to clients and coworkersAttentive to detail, discretion, and follow-throughSelf-motivated team playerValid driver’s license and able to travel to regional locations for onsite workWilling to work flexible hours based on project needsWHAT WE OFFERAn ever-evolving global organization focused on transformation and innovationA support system in which you can voice your opinion, share feedback, and be your authentic selfGlobal connectivity to learn from teammates who share your passion for artCompetitive benefits to support your career, family, personal wellness, and financial wellbeingPay:Schedule:Location:Elevate the power of your work.
