We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. Whether your expertise lies in real estate closings and title searches or estate planning and probate matters, your skills will contribute to the high-quality service we provide to our clients.You thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize accuracy and efficiency, and bring a client-first attitude to your work. Your ability to listen, analyze, and offer thoughtful suggestions makes you an invaluable asset to the team.Key Responsibilities (Real Estate Focus):

  • Open and manage files, gathering information from all parties to ensure smooth closings.
  • Order title work, clear title issues with the attorney, and address judgments, liens, and payoffs.
  • Draft legal documents such as easements and rights-of-way.
  • Collaborate with lenders to prepare and balance closing disclosures, pre-closing forms, and tax certifications.
  • Prepare documents for closings, coordinate funding documentation, and manage post-closing tasks such as mailing loan packages and recording documents.
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, and realtors to address any closing-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities (Estate Planning Focus):

  • Draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Manage probate filings and ensure compliance with North Carolina estate law.
  • Assist clients with long-term care planning and other estate-related legal needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a paralegal in real estate law or estate planning law.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.

  • Competitive salary: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 (depending on experience)
