Description: Web Developer, 1 year contractOnsite M-F 9-5pmTalento Human Capital is partnering with a leading multinational HVAC, refrigeration, and fire and security equipment corporation seeking a Web Developer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining engaging and user-friendly web and mobile experiences.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive websites and web applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional and efficient code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web pages for speed and performance.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure website functionality and stability.
• Ability to work with and animate large tables of data for accessibility on mobile devices.
• Stay abreast of the latest web development technologies and trends.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS
• Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP), PHP is a must
• Experience with version control systems, GitHub is a must
• Familiar with webcrawlers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A passion for creating user-friendly and engaging web experiences.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with responsive design and mobile development.
• Experience with SEO and web accessibility best practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
