Description: Job description:Cactus Life Sciences is looking for a Front End Freelance Developer to help support an increasing volume of web development projects. The Front End Developer will be responsible for developing responsive, optimized, and user-friendly interfaces for websites and applications with rapid delivery timelines. Works closely with Graphic Designers, Scientific Directors, Medical Writers, Digital Team, and Accounts Team to conceive and execute concepts for web-based client projects within the medical affairs ecosystem. Able to innovate and offer creative solutions to meet the evolving needs of HCPs, patients, and payers. Job responsibilities:

• Front-end development utilizing HTML/CSS, JavaScript, CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind, JavaScript libraries like jQuery and frameworks like React, Vue, and Git for version control.
• Work with writers, UI/UX designers, and QA team to understand client requirements and translate them into solutions that meet the needs of the end users.
• Create solutions with cross-platform optimization in mind.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Remain up-to-date on market trends and new technologies to continue providing innovative solutions

Qualifications and prerequisites:

• 2-5 years’ experience as a Front End Developer
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Understanding of UI/UX design
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines
• Ability to work remotely with a global team across various time zones
• Experience developing for Veeva a plus
• Experience developing for Sitecore a plus
• Knowledge of backend tech and languages a bonus
