Description: Overview:Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Business Systems Analyst for a contract through the end of June 2025 (likely for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology.

• Applicants may work 100% remotely.
• Applicants must possess experience as a Business Systems Analyst implementing Learning Management Systems (LUMEN preferred)

Responsibilities:Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• The State of Maine is implementing a new enterprise learning management system, Lumen.

• This system provides a single source for all training and education for all employees and external partners.

• Create documentation and content for its processes and procedures that will be made available to all MaineIT staff in Lumen.

• As the state implements the enterprise-wide learning management system, there is a need to create content by MaineIT that provides instructional learning about MaineIT programs, processes and critical procedures.

• Viewing the instructional material is critical to ensure all MaineIT employees, as well as all Executive Branch employees who consume technology services, understand the goals of the programs, processes, and procedures.

• Ensure full documentation exists, and present it in the learning modules in an easy-to-understand format making it widely accessible. Qualifications:

Business Systems Analyst Required Skills:

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst implementing Learning Management Systems (LUMEN preferred)

• Experienced with requirement gathering
• Experienced with the documentation of existing and new polices
• Experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools

• Advanced level of skills and experience, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts, ability to create process flow documents and explain them, develop technical and functional specifications.
