Description: Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Lower School Visual ArtsSt. Anne’s-Belfield SchoolSt. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Lower School Visual Arts Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our team from early August 2025 through mid-November 2025.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging weekly art lessons to 16 Junior Kindergarten through Grade 4 homeroom classes.
• Manage and maintain art materials in the classroom.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom community.
• Document student learning, including completing trimester 1 report cards.
• Communicate effectively with parents as needed.
• Collaborate with homeroom teachers, co-curricular teachers, and the Lower School team.
• Attend faculty and department meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• A college degree in art or education (advanced degree preferred).
• Experience as an elementary educator with a strong understanding of child development.
• Familiarity with Responsive Classroom practices is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to nurturing curiosity and a love of learning in young students.
